Summary
Machine Operator
Birmingham - Postcode B6 Region.
Key role and responsibilities for our Machine Operator
- Operate and maintain Zund Cutter
- Select, install, position, and align machine components to maximize quality and efficiency
- Manage job queues effectively to balance customer demands with production schedules
- Feed raw materials or parts into semi-automated machines as required to maintain continuous workflow
- Checking quality and inspecting quality of the products
- Count, stack, mark, band, and transport finished products to designated areas
Minimum requirements for our Machine Operator
- Excellent eye to detail
- Positive can do attitude
- Be flexible and open to change (any other ad hoc tasks)
- Comply with the health and safety policy and procedures
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively
- Computer proficiency
Pay rate: £12.50 per hour
Working hours to start are:
Monday - Friday 06:00 - 14:30
