We are looking for an outstanding individual who will relish the opportunity to:

• Lead and develop CEIAG across our two secondary schools
• Further improve the already excellent careers provision in both schools
• Deliver the Twynham TGS Careers Strategy in line with the Gatsby benchmarks
• Work in partnership with senior leaders, curriculum staff, employers and external agencies
• Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people in accordance with our Safeguarding and Child Protection policies

You are likely to be (or have the potential to be):

• An inspirational and strategic leader of CEIAG
• Passionate about the power of careers education to transform lives
• Knowledgeable about post-16 and post-18 pathways, including apprenticeships and higher education
• Confident in engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, including employers, parents and external agencies
• Ambitious for career development, and willing to undertake or already hold a QCF Level 6 Diploma in Career Guidance and Development

About the Post

We are looking to appoint an exceptional and inspirational Careers Leader to lead our high-performing CEIAG (Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance) provision across our two federated schools in Christchurch. This is a very rare and exciting opportunity to shape the futures of our students through impactful, strategic careers guidance and employer engagement.

This post would suit a colleague who is deeply passionate about careers education and looking for a role that offers genuine influence and scope for professional growth. Twynham School and The Grange School federation (known as ‘Twynham TGS’) is now firmly established in Christchurch and continues to develop an exceptional vision for young people across the town.
