We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join our dynamic team. You will deliver high-quality, innovative teaching that prepares students for both exams and future STEM-related careers. What You’ll Do

• Deliver engaging and challenging Science lessons in line with the national curriculum and our “Curriculum That Gets You Hired” principles.
• Plan and deliver lessons that promote curiosity, problem-solving, and critical thinking through practical and project-based learning.
• Contribute to the planning and continuous improvement of the Science curriculum, ensuring it remains creative, relevant, and aligned with industry and higher education standards.
• Support enrichment projects, employer engagement activities, and STEM experiences that connect classroom learning to industry practice.
• Use trauma-informed and adaptive teaching approaches to meet the diverse needs of learners, including those with SEND or additional barriers.
• Build positive, professional relationships with students, fostering engagement, resilience, and aspiration through our MAGIC values (Motivation, Aspiration, Grit, Independence, Collaboration).

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and evidence of further professional development.
• Successful teaching experience within the curriculum.
• A thorough understanding of effective teaching, assessment, and inclusive practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to your own professional development and to the values of Walsall Studio School & Sixth.
