This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, on a maternity cover basis.

As a Teaching Learning and Assessment Manager, you will be required to work across all of our college campuses, therefore you must be able to travel between sites.

Day to day duties

  • Oversee the quality of teaching, learning and assessment practice across the breadth of provision across the organisation for their allocated areas(this can include 16-19; Adult; Work-based Learning and SEND).
  • Develop curriculum managers across class-based, foundation and work -based learning by building their skills, confidence, and capacity to manage and improve the quality of their own provision (including supporting with their quality improvement plans and self-assessment processes)
  • Deliver bespoke support, training and improvement programmes todepartments or areas in need of improvement, ensuring that outcomesand the overall learner and apprentice experience improves.
  • Assure and facilitate the effective dissemination of outstanding practice in TLA across the college including the coaching and development of staff.

Required skills and qualifications

  • A Teaching Qualification (Minimum Level 4), or work-based / foundation learning / sector equivalent qualification.
  • At least 3 years teaching / assessing / support experience.
  • The ability to demonstrate high quality teaching, learning, assessment and/or tutoring in own practice.
