About the Role:
The Best Connection Recruitment Agency are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 Moffett Driver for our clients based in Maidstone, Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells and Sevnoaks.
You'll be responsible for the safe operation of a Moffett forklift for unloading materials, ensuring customer satisfaction and timely deliveries. No London driving is required unless covering for another branches on rare occasions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle equipped with a Moffett forklift to deliver insulation products to various addresses.
- Load, transport, and offload goods using the mounted forklift at building sites or domestic properties.
- Complete thorough pre-use vehicle and forklift checks daily and report any defects.
- Plan and manage daily routes efficiently to meet scheduled delivery times.
- Deliver high standards of customer service, acting as the face of the company.
- Accurately complete all delivery paperwork and digital records.
- Follow site safety rules and traffic regulations at all times.
- Communicate with transport team regarding delivery status, issues, or delays.
- Competitive pay at £18.00 per hour (paid weekly)
- Start times vary between 6:30 - 08:00 Monday to Friday.

- Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV Licence
- Valid Moffett Licence
- Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum age: 25 years (for insurance purposes)
- Maximum of 6 points on driving licence - no DR, DD, or IN codes
- Previous experience with multi-drop deliveries
- Good route planning and navigation skills
- Physically fit - some manual handling may be required
- Positive, reliable, and safety-conscious attitude
