Summary

Finishing Foreman - New Build Housing Site

Bridgend | Full-Time | Temporary Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for an experienced and proactive Finishing Foreman to join a new build housing project in Bridgend. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality finishes in residential construction.

Key Duties:
  • Oversee and coordinate all internal finishing works on site, including plastering, painting, joinery, flooring, and snagging.

  • Ensure high standards of workmanship are maintained throughout the final stages of the build.

  • Work closely with site management, tradespeople, and subcontractors to ensure smooth progress and timely completion.

  • Conduct and manage snagging and de-snagging works to ensure properties are delivered to a high standard.

  • Support the project manager in maintaining health & safety, quality, and programme targets.

  • Act as a point of contact for resolving on-site finishing issues swiftly and efficiently.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a finishing foreman or similar role within the housebuilding sector.

  • Strong technical knowledge of all finishing trades.

  • Ability to read drawings and work to programme deadlines.

  • CSCS card.

  • SMSTS or SSSTS (preferred).

  • First Aid certification (desirable).

  • Proactive, practical approach with strong leadership skills.

  • Willingness to be hands-on where needed to get the job done.
