Hays is delighted to be working in partnership with a well-established company based in Nottingham, currently seeking an experienced Assistant Management Accountant to join their Client Accounting team.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their finance career, supporting senior leadership in delivering high-quality client reporting and driving operational improvements across a diverse property portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare bespoke periodic financial reports for clients
- Manage VAT reporting and funding requests
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and system maintenance
- Produce cash flow forecasts and variance analysis
- Liaise with client auditors and attend meetings (virtual or face-to-face)
- Improve reporting processes through automation and technology
- Handle onboarding/offboarding of clients and properties
- Communicate with tenants, surveyors, and clients
- Ensure compliance with internal quality assurance standards
- Provide support and problem-solving assistance to the wider team
- Perform ad hoc duties as required
What You'll Bring:

Essential Requirements:
