Trafford Tuition is a highly regarded local education provider working in partnership with primary schools across Trafford to deliver targeted academic support and 11+ preparation. We are Ofsted-registered and work closely with schools to raise attainment, build confidence, and prepare pupils for the next stage of their education.
The Role
We are seeking experienced, qualified primary teachers (QTS essential) to join our growing team. The role involves delivering two small-group tutoring sessions each afternoon/evening, Monday to Friday, working with KS2 pupils on Maths, English, Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning.
You will also support our Trafford Tuition Holiday Clubs for two weeks per year, delivering high-quality academic support in a structured, engaging environment during school holidays.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality small-group tutoring sessions for KS2 pupils.
Follow established curriculum resources and contribute to pupils’ academic progress.
Maintain excellent safeguarding and professional standards.
Build strong relationships with pupils, parents/carers, and school partners.
About You
Qualified teacher status (QTS) is essential.
Recent experience teaching in primary schools.
Strong subject knowledge in Maths and English, and confidence teaching 11+ content.
Excellent communication, organisation and behaviour management skills.
First aid training is preferable.
A clear commitment to safeguarding and high professional standards.
