Summary
School Meals Supervisory Assistant
Situated within Mytham Primary School, Little Lever
Location: Mytham Primary School, Little Lever, Bolton, BL3 1JG
Grade: Grade B
Salary range: From £22,737 per annum (pro-rata)
Actual salary: £5,493 - £5,515 per annum
Contract: 10 hours and fixed term initially to 31st August 2026, term time only
Working hours: Monday Friday 11.30am 1.30pm
Closing date: Monday 20th October at 9.00am
Interview date: week commencing 3rd November 2025
Start date: As soon as possible
The Governing Body of Mytham Primary wish to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated school meals supervisor to join our team. A patient and friendly approach and the ability to manage behaviour in a positive manner is an essential part of the role.
The successful candidate will:
- Be hardworking and able to work as a member of a team to ensure the children are safe, happy and healthy at lunchtime
- Be able to supervise the children in the dinner hall, playground and classrooms during wet weather.
- Enjoy the company of children, listening and talking to them, sorting out problems and engaging with them in playground and indoor games
- Have a good level of English and Maths.
- Have a commitment to be involved in every aspect of our school life
- Be a team player who can work in partnership with others.
