About the Role
Are you passionate about renewable power systems and hands-on engineering design? In this role, you'll take ownership of the full lifecycle of off-grid / battery / hybrid power projects - from concept and quoting, through system design and cost estimation, to working with clients and handing over for manufacture.
You'll work closely with internal teams and clients to translate their needs into technical solutions. While you'll be doing design work, you'll also get to build, test, and refine systems - so this is not a purely theoretical job.
Key responsibilities include:
* Reviewing customer specifications and requirements
* Designing renewable energy / off-grid systems (wind, solar, battery, hybrid) to meet target power demands
* Producing cost estimates, bills of materials, and proposals
* Answering technical queries internally and from clients
* Liaising with manufacturing, procurement and project teams
* Hands-on prototyping, testing and commissioning
* Overseeing quality, performance and optimization of designs

They have a global reach, but still operate with the agility and innovation you'd expect in a high-tech engineering business.
In this role you'll get exposure to a wide variety of power generation technologies, a chance to really own your designs from start to finish, and the satisfaction of seeing them delivered and operating in the real world.

* A practical, hands-on mindset - able to get stuck into prototyping / testing
* Capability to think commercially (costing, procurement)
________________________________________
What You'll Get
* Competitive base salary with quarterly bonus
* Real ownership of projects and technical freedom
* Exposure to cutting-edge renewables / off-grid technologies
