Join an innovative robotics manufacturer shaping the future of motion technology.

Due to continued growth, our client is looking for a Manufacturing Production Trainee to join their friendly and skilled workshop team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for engineering, mechanics, and robotics to build hands-on experience in a modern production environment.

You’ll play a key role in the assembly and supply of high-performance robotic products used in film and broadcast production. Working alongside experienced engineers and technicians, you’ll learn every step of the process — from stock control and quality checking to mechanical and electrical assembly.

Key Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Production Trainee:

• Assist with checking and booking in stock and materials
• Help maintain accurate stock control using MRP systems
• Support the kitting and parts distribution process
• Take part in testing and quality control procedures
• Assemble precision mechanical and electrical components using hand and power tools

Skills & Experience:

• A genuine interest in mechanical engineering, manufacturing, or robotics
• A practical, hands-on approach and eagerness to learn
• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced workshop environment
• Full training and ongoing support will be provided — looking for enthusiasm and potential, not years of experience.

What’s on Offer

• Competitive starting salary of £20,000 – £24,000, depending on experience
• Structured training and career progression opportunities
• Shifts typically 7am to 4pm Mon-Thurs & 7am to 12:30pm Fri
• Be part of an innovative, growing company at the forefront of robotics technology

A short, practical skills assessment will form part of the interview process to help tailor your training plan — it’s not a pass or fail test.
