Duties will include: Taking blood samples from Outpatients and In Patients. Carrying out general departmental duties. To label blood samples as directed in the adult and paediatric venepuncture clinical guidelines. To ensure blood samples are correctly packaged by staff for transportation to the path lab. To clean and sterile the working areas To maintain Statutory Training as required for the role To carry out routine stock taking and monitor stock levels. To adhere to infection control policies. To assist in anticoagulation clinics if required.
