We’re now looking for an experienced Disrepair and Risk Surveyor to join our team on a Full Time Permanent basis. This role offers full-time hours (36.25 hours per week) About the role As a Disrepair and Risk Surveyor, you will take ownership of all disrepair inspections, producing detailed reports and Scott Schedules in order to support the necessary repairs. You’ll work collaboratively with the Disrepair and Risk Manager and Coordinator to assign work and monitor quality, ensuring repairs meet required specifications, safety standards, and comply with Disrepair Protocols and procedures. You’ll carry out site assessments to identify potential issues and coordinate logistics with the Healthy Homes team, while resolving on-site challenges-whether logistical or technical. All works must comply with building regulations, health and safety standards, and the implementation of Awaab’s Law.You’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate records of snagging works and supporting the Team Leader in labour allocation. A key part of the role is promoting a positive culture of safety, quality, and teamwork across all touchpoints, encouraging an approachable and proactive mindset. This is an agile role, with travel expected due to the dispersed nature of our tenants’ and customers’ homes. You’ll work flexibly across locations, including from home, Progress offices, and out in the community. What We Are Looking For To be successful in these roles, you should have: Strong leadership and communication skills A solid understanding of the repairs process Effective record-keeping abilities Excellent attention to detail The ability to interpret technical drawings A collaborative and adaptable approach to working with customers and colleaguesA full UK Driver License with use of your own vehicle.
