Summary
Transport Administrator
We are looking for a confident and proactive Transport Administrator to join our client's busy team. This is an immediate start position, offering long-term opportunities for the right candidate.
Location: Carlisle, Cumbria
Shifts Available:
- 14:00 - 22:30 (Monday - Friday)
- 18:00 - 02:30 (Monday - Friday)
Pay Rates:
- First 12 weeks: £12.60 per hour
- After 12 weeks: £14.32 per hour
You will be responsible for:
- Handling incoming calls and passing on accurate messages
- Managing emails through the night and ensuring timely responses
- Inputting data accurately into the system
- Assisting with departures and ensuring information is transferred correctly
- Supporting drivers with queries and updates
- Reacting quickly to changes and providing efficient administrative support
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous transport administration experience (preferred)
- Computer literate with strong attention to detail
- Confident communicator, both by phone and email
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced and reactive environment
- Lively, professional, and able to multitask under pressure
