Summary
***CLASS 1 DRIVERS WANTED***
Here at The Best Connection we are looking for experienced class 1 drivers to join our client based in Totton.
These roles are ongoing with potential to go full time with a contract.
Salary - £15.75 PAYE / £19.70 UMBRELLA
Location - Totton, Southampton
Start Time - Between 5-9am
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Collecting containers and delivering to the customer
- Driving Class 1 vehicles doing day trunk up to main hub and back
- Shunting vehicles from the companies yard to the docks
- Vehicle checks before and after each shift
- Reporting any issues to the manager
- Early starts between 04:00-09:00am
- Understand Tachograph rules and regulations
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- Full UK Class 1 Licence
- Held the licence 2 years
- Class 1 experience, container and box vehicles
- Dock experience
- Valid CPC & Tacho Card
- DP World card required
- Ongoing work
- Induction training
- On-site parking
