Summary

Offshore Steward (Grade A) – BW Catcher FPSO, North Sea

Location: North Sea – Mobilisation from Aberdeen
Rotation: 2 weeks on / 3 weeks off – 12-hour shifts
Salary: £45,644.15 - COTA Grade A

About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated Offshore Steward (Grade A) to join our team onboard the BW Catcher FPSO in the North Sea.You’ll play a key role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and hospitality in the living quarters and catering areas offshore.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver housekeeping and cleaning services to agreed standards, ensuring a safe, hygienic environment.

  • Maintain accommodation areas, kitchens, mess rooms, and equipment in line with company procedures.

  • Carry out daily cleaning tasks — including sweeping, mopping, polishing, and laundry duties.

  • Support catering operations by assisting with meal preparation, serving, and maintaining galley supplies.

  • Manage pot wash and assist with container unloading as required.

  • Participate in deep cleaning programmes and routine inspections.

  • Report maintenance issues, defects, and health & safety incidents promptly.

  • Comply fully with the Health & Safety at Work Act and company safety systems.

  • Embrace ongoing training, development, and safety initiatives.

What You’ll Need
  • Valid offshore certification, including:

    • BOSIET (Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training)

    • MIST (Minimum Industry Safety Training)

    • Offshore Energies UK (OEUK) Medical Certificate

    • First Aid Certificate

    • Willingness to complete Norwegian Escape Chute Training

  • Experience in catering, hospitality, or customer service (offshore experience desirable but not essential).

  • A positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to teamwork.

  • Health & Hygiene Certificate (desirable).
