Summary

About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated, patient-focused Associate Dentist to join their growing dental team. The ideal candidate will provide a high standard of clinical care to NHS and private patients, contributing to the ongoing success and excellent reputation of our practice. Location:
• Working across the client’s Denbigh and Rhyl Dental Surgeries (North Wales)
Salary & Benefits

Key Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality dental care in line with GDC standards and NHS regulations.
• Examine, diagnose, and develop appropriate treatment plans for patients.
• Perform a full range of dental procedures, including restorative, preventive, and cosmetic treatments.
• Maintain accurate, detailed, and compliant patient records in line with GDPR and CQC requirements.
• Build rapport with patients to encourage regular attendance and treatment plan acceptance.
• Work collaboratively with dental nurses, hygienists, and administrative staff to ensure a smooth patient journey.
• Uphold infection control, decontamination, and cross-infection protocols at all times.
• Participate in clinical audits, team meetings, and practice improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to the development of the practice’s private service offering where appropriate.

Qualifications & Requirements
• Full GDC registration and active performer number (for NHS work).
• Current indemnity insurance.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
• A commitment to continuing professional development (CPD).
• Proven ability to manage a varied and busy patient list.

Other Requirements / Conditions
• DBS check
• Health screening
• Insurance check

Desirable Skills
• Experience in delivering private dentistry (cosmetic, restorative, or implant work).
• Postgraduate qualifications or training in specialist areas (e.g., endodontics, orthodontics, implants).
• Familiarity with dental software systems (e.g., SOE, Exact, Dentally).
• Fluency in additional languages is a plus.
