Summary
As part of this role the following task will be required: Typing medical referrals, reports, correspondence, and other documents as required by the practice. Liaising with external agencies such as hospitals and community services, ensuring referrals are processed efficiently. Answer and directing phone calls and emails, responding to inquiries and handling patient concerns appropriately. Manage and schedule appointments for patients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Completing SAR requests for medical records, and patient information in compliance with GDPR and practice policies and procedures. Prepare and submit insurance claims and billing information. Ordering of office and practice consumable supplies as necessary. Record the minutes of meetings. Carry out system searches as requested. Carry out audits for quarterly submissions, i.e. CSW. Maintain a clean, tidy, effective working area at all times. Manage own training updates as set by Practice manager. Support all clinical staff with general administrative tasks as requested. Any other duties set by the Practice Manager and /or Senior GP.
