Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We have an exciting opportunity for a Agreements Engineer (Development Control) to join our dynamic Highways Team at Stoke-on-Trent City Council.
In this role, you will play a key part in shaping and enhancing our road network. You’ll be responsible for delivering civil engineering projects, overseeing highway-related construction, and ensuring high-quality design approvals.
Working closely with both internal and external stakeholders, you’ll help drive forward large-scale and complex projects that make a real difference to our city.
What You’ll Do: Lead and oversee the design, approval, and delivery of highway-related construction projects. Ensure compliance with national and regional design specifications and safety standards. Provide expert technical, design, and cost advice to internal and external clients.
Manage the evaluation and authorisation of externally designed engineering schemes. Uphold the highest health, safety, and environmental standards for staff, contractors, and the public.
Engage and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, including the public and elected members.
