Summary
We're recruiting Class 2 HIAB Drivers for our client with locations in Birkenhead and Knowsley, a leading provider of temporary fencing, site hoarding, and barriers for construction sites, concerts, and events across the UK.
This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with long-term prospects for the right candidates. You'll be responsible for delivering and collecting equipment to and from various sites, using HIAB cranes to load/unload materials safely and efficiently.
Pay Rates:
- £17.00/hr PAYE (£21.20/hr including holiday pay) - Standard hours
- £25.50/hr PAYE (£32.12/hr including holiday pay) - Overtime
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent - 40 hours guaranteed per week
Positions Available: Multiple
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Class 2 HIAB vehicles to transport fencing and hoarding materials
- Load and unload using HIAB crane
- Ensure timely and safe deliveries to construction and event sites
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and complete daily checks
- Provide excellent customer service on-site
Requirements:
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- HIAB certification (preferably with remote or hook experience)
- CPC and Digi Tacho card
- Previous HIAB driving experience preferred
- Good communication and reliability
