We are currently recruiting on behalf of a group of welcoming and supportive schools in the Eccleston area who are seeking a dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join their teams. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about education and child development to make a real impact in the classroom.
As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support pupils' learning across a range of subjects and age groups. You'll help create a positive and inclusive learning environment, assist with classroom activities, and provide tailored support to individual students where needed.
- Support the teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
- Work with small groups or individual pupils to reinforce learning.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and promote positive interactions.
- Assist with the preparation of learning materials and resources.
- Provide feedback to teachers on pupil progress and areas of concern.
- Contribute to the overall wellbeing and safeguarding of pupils.
What you'll need to succeed
- Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
- Experience working with children in an educational setting.
- A genuine passion for helping children learn and grow.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- A proactive and flexible approach to supporting learning.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one.
- Full right to work in the UK.
