Summary

Job Description

To gather and analyse workforce information and data, providing and assisting with information and data to support various workforce planning and associated projects. To provide management information and data which will enable and support services with workforce planning and managing their people.

The Individual

Demonstrable clerical/ administrative experience role with experience of:

  • Researching, gathering and analysing information, data and preparing reports
  • Designing and preparing complex documents
  • Recording and tracking progress on project work or other deadlines
  • Drafting responses to miscellaneous items of correspondence
  • Setting-up and maintaining comprehensive filing systems

2 Higher grades or equivalent, English preferred

Ability to work using initiative and common sense and to take balanced decisions or seek advice when required

Effective organisational skills and ability to prioritise own work

Digital Skills including the use of information and data management systems and proficiency in applications including M365, particularly Excel and Power Bi. Ability to give constructive advice under pressure

Ability to achieve deadlines

Basic knowledge of employment legislation and relevant issues

Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy

Effective administration and organisational skills and co-operative team based approach to work

Ability to analyse data, identify trends and make appropriate recommendations

Ability to utilise systems and identify developments and improvements in reporting information and data management

Ability and knowledgeable in extracting information from systems to provide information and data management

Ability to respond and prepare requests for bespoke reports

Effective communication skills, both oral and written

Able to relate to people at all levels

Must respect confidentiality

Must be able to travel efficiently between locations within Moray and occasionally outside of the area.
