Summary
Hours: 40 hours a week with 28 days paid holiday including national bank holidays, which includes a whole week break over Christmas.
Little Lattons Nursery are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our team. Ideal candidates would be an effective role model that sets high expectations and motivates the children to play, learn and grow. Applicants must be enthusiastic and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Essential requirements:
NVQ Level 3 Qualification or equivalent
First aid trained
A solid understanding of child protection/safeguarding issues and procedures
Enhanced DBS check
Little Lattons Nursery offer a unique chance to be part of a friendly and supportive team. The nursery have a genuine belief that a child’s early development is pivotal to their next stage in education. They implement educational strategies into fun activities in order to promote a love for learning with enjoyment. It is an environment of fun and friendship; staff are responsible for liaising with parents on all aspects of their child's care and development, and should have a good knowledge and experience of using the EYFS to underpin what the children are doing, how their development is progressing and to plan what would benefit them as next steps.
As a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of care and education for all children under the guidance of a Nursery Manager. Ensuring the individual needs of children are identified and met. Along with building positive working relationship with the children, staff, parents and carers and have a willingness to undertake relevant further training as and when required.
