Applications are invited for the post of Student Record System Project Business Lead in the in the Directorate of Student Administration.

Royal Holloway, University of London is undertaking a major Project to replace its Student Record System (SRS) and transform the operating model for Student Study Services. The SRS underpins the entire student journey, from application through to graduation. This project is central to our commitment to delivering a modern, efficient, and student-focused experience. The new system will support all aspects of the student lifecycle and will play a vital role in helping the University meet its strategic goals for student recruitment and student experience. This role will be a key member of the Project Team to implement the new system and deliver the new operating model.

The SRS Project Business Lead will be based within the Student Administration Directorate, which is responsible for delivering the administrative functions involved in the student lifecycle, from Enrolment to Award, and act as the Business Lead on the SRS Project for all Student Administration services. Working with the Director of Student Administration, the role will also provide business oversight for the entire SRS Project including overseeing project activity relating to Admissions & Student Recruitment and Statutory Reporting services that are managed outside of the Directorate.

The post holder will take a lead role in the design and delivery of Student Study Services within the new system, ensuring that services are collectively and individually; consistent, efficient and focused on the needs of the user, whether that be an applicant, student or member of staff. They will be responsible for overseeing the analysis and redesign of business processes, configuration and testing of the processes within the new system and preparation for live implementation, including supporting communications and change management.

We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Business Lead who is able to work across the University to challenge the status quo to improve the delivery of services. The post holder will need in-depth knowledge of Higher Education and the delivery of administrative services to student and be aware of the challenges and opportunities facing the sector. They will be able to build successful partnerships with internal and external colleagues and work closely with a range of stakeholders including academic and professional services colleagues, external partners and students.
