Contract Duration: 20 October 2025 – 5 January 2026
Hours: 35 per week (Mon–Fri, 09:00–17:30)

About the Role
Liverpool City Council is seeking a skilled and confident Consultant Social Worker to provide supervision and oversight to a team of Outreach Family Support Workers. This grant-funded role is essential to ensuring the quality and consistency of Family Help assessments delivered to families across the city.
Based at Clubmoor Children’s Centre, you’ll play a key leadership role in guiding frontline staff, maintaining best practice standards, and supporting positive outcomes for children and families.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and support Outreach Family Support Workers
Oversee the delivery of Family Help assessments
Ensure compliance with statutory guidance and service standards
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and reflective practice
Contribute to service planning and development
✅ Candidate Requirements
HCPC/Social Work England registration
Enhanced DBS clearance
Proven experience in supervising social care teams
Strong understanding of family support and early help frameworks
Fully compliant and ready for immediate start
