Summary
Excellent opportunity to join a growing team as a Hygiene Team Leader.
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Hygiene Team Leader to join our client on our afternoon/evening shift. This is a key role where you'll lead a dedicated hygiene team, ensuring that high standards of cleanliness and compliance are consistently met across our facility.
This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership qualities, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for maintaining a safe, hygienic, and audit-ready environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate the hygiene team to deliver outstanding cleanliness and hygiene standards across the site.
- Ensure all team members are fully trained and competent in hygiene procedures, safety protocols, and chemical usage.
- Work closely with Technical and Quality departments to uphold internal and external hygiene standards.
- Take full accountability for all hygiene operations, ensuring all scheduled and ad hoc cleaning tasks are completed effectively.
- Participate in the procurement and stock control of hygiene chemicals, equipment, and supplies.
- Manage and oversee the internal hygiene audit schedule, ensuring all records and documentation are accurate and up to date.
✅ What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in a hygiene leadership role, ideally in a food production or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of hygiene practices, cleaning chemicals, and relevant H&S and food safety regulations.
- Excellent team management and communication skills.
- Organised, proactive, and able to work independently under pressure.
- Confident working cross-functionally with Quality and Technical teams.
- Comfortable working Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM - 12:30 AM.
