Location: Canary Wharf, London
Salary: £50,000 + Benefits
Shift Pattern: Continental Shifts (Days & Nights, 6am–6pm / 6pm–6am)
Site: Critical Environment
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our dedicated engineering team on a critical site in Canary Wharf. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled engineer to work in a fast-paced, high-profile environment, carrying out both planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance to ensure the continued reliability and performance of essential systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance on a critical site.
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety standards and statutory requirements.
- Respond promptly to faults, diagnose issues, and implement effective solutions.
- Support the smooth operation of electrical and building services equipment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contractors to maintain operational excellence.
Requirements:
- Recognised electrical qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds 2365/2391, 18th Edition).
- Proven experience working in a critical environment (e.g. data centre, financial, hospital, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of PPM & reactive maintenance.
- Ability to work on a continental shift rota (days & nights).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently under pressure.
