Due to continued growth, we are looking for a skilled and motivated Car Adaptation Engineer to join our team.
The Role
As a Car Adaptation Engineer, you will be responsible for fitting, modifying, and maintaining vehicle adaptations to meet customer needs. This includes:
• Installing hand controls, left-foot accelerators, steering aids, hoists, and other driving adaptations.
• Diagnosing and repairing faults with adapted systems.
• Working closely with customers to ensure adaptations are tailored to individual requirements.
• Ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards.
• Completing paperwork and liaising with suppliers/manufacturers where required.
About You
We’re looking for someone with:
• Experience in automotive mechanics, auto-electrics, or vehicle adaptations (training provided for the right candidate).
• Strong practical and problem-solving skills.
• A customer-focused attitude and good communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
