Summary
To designate roles within the team and use negotiation andpersuasive skills to solve problems.To support Team members with procurement advice for allocatedsavings projectsProviding information on relevant UK purchasing legislation and theTrusts SFIs.To provide a first check on the quality of the goods received and toreport any obvious damage or discrepancies in according with trustprocedures.To check the accuracy of the supporting documentation of deliveredgoods. To ensure the offloading of deliveries and restocking the storageareas to agreed levels is carried out by the team with in the ward anddepartments in receipt of service and break down cages for collectionTo dispose of waste packaging in line with trust waste managementpolicyTo re-order the agreed range of goods to the predetermined stocklevels by utilising the electronic ordering system used within the trust.Provide a service to customers throughout the trust and externalcustomers in a timely and convenient manner.To assist with any specific project work on behalf of the supply chainmanager or senior Procurement officer.Liaise and work with procurement staff and service users To identify the cost implications of budget pressures to budget holderson a regular basis.To help develop the service provided to customers in response totheir requirement and changes within the trust and external markets.Achieve stakeholder support and sign off to any changes in theservice provided.Work with end users to offer advice on alternatives which mayproduce savings.To work to solve problems and differences using negotiation andpersuasive skills.To achieve sign off of prospective benefits enabling Truststakeholders to contribute to SFIP achievement
