Ty Clyd Residential Home is looking for 5 x casual Care Assistants to provide care and support for older adults. You will be required to carry out duties to support residents in a dignified and respectful manner, promoting independence and wellbeing and adopt a person centred approach.



Experience of working with older people would be beneficial although not essential. You must have knowledge of the principles that underpin quality care e.g. dignity and choice. You must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, possess clear understanding of the sensitive and confidential nature of the post and be courteous and responsive to the needs of individuals.



Rota patterns of work are over a 7 day period. Approximate shift times are 7:00am - 2.30pm & 2.30pm -10:00pm. There will be opportunities to work up to 35 hours per week.

It is essential that applicants are in receipt of / working towards Level 2 in care (Previously known as NVQ 2) or a willingness to achieve the qualification within a specified timeframe.



For the role, we ask that you have:

The ability to work in partnership with residents, carers and families.
Experience of working as part of a team.
The ability and willingness to work flexibly including weekends, bank holidays and sleep in duties.
