OPPORTUNITY
We’re now recruiting a PRODUCTION PLANNER to join our amazing BSC team, helping us efficiently and effectively protect and connect around our world. The successful candidate will work alongside our other Planner, utilizing data and understanding your area team’s capabilities, to ensure that through your planning, they consistently provide high quality products, on time, to meet customer demands.
You’ll also bring your experience and knowledge to:
Analyze, identify and propose solutions to risks and issues.
Monitor plans considering wins, issues and improvements.
Complete agreed analysis and reporting requirements.
Support the implementation and maintenance of our new ERP system.
Highly collaborative, an excellent communicator and adept with IT systems, you’ll proactively working across our Production team with our Cell Leads, Purchasing, Quality, Machine Shop, Stores and Logistics, as well more widely with Sales and Finance.
To be successful, you’ll have experience in the following:
Working in a planning/scheduling role to meet the job description responsibilities.
Finding, analysing and updating multiple data sources, across multiple departments.
Using data to update plans, prepare reports and contribute to presentations and meetings.
Responding effectively to change and finding workable resolutions to challenges.
Seeking clarification of customer needs: internal and external – application, specification and timescale.
To be considered, you must be a UK or NATO national with a right to work in the UK.
