Summary
To support the delivery of key projects, events, and initiatives which are designed to foster
student engagement and enhance student experience for students at Middlesex University.
This includes assisting with pan university events, including welcome, induction and graduation
as well as events developed by teams based across the University, for example, careers fairs,
employer-led events, mentoring programmes, enterprise and entrepreneurial initiatives, and
curriculum-linked employability projects. The role will also provide general administrative and
event support across the team to ensure an inclusive and impactful student experience.
Principal Duties:
• Assist in the planning and delivery of pan university events for students, including
welcome, induction and graduation.
• To assist in the planning and delivery of events designed by specific teams from across
the University, for example, the Careers and Futures Service.
• Help coordinate promotional activities for events and programmes, including creating
and scheduling social media posts, student newsletters, and on-campus promotions.
• Liaise with a range of identified stakeholders, e.g., employers, alumni, and speakers to
ensure they are fully briefed and supported in advance of events.
• Manage student registrations and monitor attendance for events, sessions, and
programmes.
• Provide logistical support for projects.
• Assist with evaluation and feedback collection and contribute to reporting on student
engagement and event impact.
• Respond to student and stakeholder enquiries, ensuring professional and timely
communication.
• Contribute to a high-quality student experience by supporting inclusive practices and
helping ensure all activities are accessible and welcoming.
• To contribute to pan-university events including induction, welcome, and graduation
