This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Administrator to become an integral part of a small, professional team where your organisational skills and initiative will make a real impact.
The Role
You’ll support the smooth running of the office, working closely with the Senior Office Administrator. This is a varied role where no two days are the same — ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership of their work and keeping things running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing day-to-day administrative support to the office team.
- Managing diaries, drafting correspondence, and preparing quotes.
- Handling travel arrangements — booking flights, ferries, taxis, and applying for visas.
- Processing sales orders and maintaining stock control through Sage 1000.
- Liaising with transport companies and coordinating import/export documentation.
- Managing purchase orders, stationery, PPE, and credit card transactions.
- Handling customer enquiries and ensuring excellent service.
- Covering the Senior Administrator during absences to maintain smooth operations.
About You
You’ll be a reliable, organised, and professional individual with a proactive approach to your work.
Essential skills
- Strong administrative experience within an office environment.
- Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Confident managing multiple priorities and working independently.
- A professional, punctual, and methodical approach.
Desirable
- Experience using Sage (ideally Sage 1000).
- Previous experience in a technical, engineering, or logistics setting.
This is a full time, permanent position
You'll be working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
Your rate of pay for this role will be £25,000 to £27,000 per year
