Summary
Gas Engineer Required - Birmingham
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: £24 per hour temp.
Duration: Initial 5 weeks
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
We are seeking an experienced Gas Engineer Required work on a social housing project across South Birmingham.
Job Responsibilities:
- Central heating installations and gas maintenance services
- Day to day repairs/maintenance, short duration service, renewal or refurbishment works to properties and void properties.
- Carry out fault diagnosis and communicate additional works required back to your Supervisor/Line Manager.
Company Van and Fuel Card provided.
Requirements
- Experience in a Gas Engineering role
- GAS Safe Registration
- CCN1, CEN1 current gas accreditation's
- Full UK Driving License
- Maximum of 5 points on driving licence
- Own tools
- Preferably with experience in social housing
- Able to provide 2 work references
Desirable Criteria
- HTR1, CKR1, MET1, WAT1 current gas accreditation's
- CSCS HAPS Test Certificate + CSCS Skills card
- C&G Craft/Advanced Craft Certificate in Heating Engineering and/or plumbing or NVQ certificate.
