Summary
An exciting opportunity for someone looking for a managerial role in small nursing home located at the heart of Weston-super-Mare. We are a reputable nursing home supporting elderly people with general nursing, dementia care, end of life care, physical disabilities and other complexities.
You will be responsible for managing and building on the success of high-quality services for all our residents, alongside developing and guiding the team of people. The registered manager should encourage a culture of care and of continuous improvement across the service, actively working with service users, staff, families and commissioners to help shape, build and improve quality of services.
About You:
• a track record in motivating, managing and developing people
• clear understanding of leadership responsibilities in social care setting
• excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• minimum of 2 years’ management experience within nursing home and hold a
a RGN or RMN qualification.
• Knowledge of CQC requirements and governance
• computer literacy with word, excel and email capabilities.
