The Best Connection are searching for a Studio Designer to join our client based in Crawley. This is an exciting role for those looking to progress within a established company which is going from strength to strength and work with a supportive team. You will be reporting to the Marketing Manager as well as Production manager with great training and development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform detailed preflight checks on customer artwork files to ensure they meet size, resolution, and colour profile requirements before production.
  • Manage the entire BOM (Bill of Materials) code creation process, ensuring accuracy and consistency across products.
  • Collaborate closely with the Studio and Production teams to ensure seamless workflow and transition of artwork into production.
  • Modify and prepare customer artwork as needed to ensure it is ready for print methods such as embroidery, heat press, signage, or DTF.
  • Organise and maintain digital artwork files, following strict naming conventions within the shared drive for easy access and tracking.
  • Communicate effectively with Studio, Production, and Sales teams to clarify artwork specifications and quickly resolve any issues.
  • Uphold a high standard of detail and accuracy to ensure all artwork meets internal standards and client expectations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts aimed at streamlining the preflight and BOM creation processes.
  • Help maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised working environment.
  • Participate in team projects and provide support to colleagues as needed.
Key Skills and Attributes:
  • Solid understanding of artwork file types, colour management, and design specifications.
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or other industry-standard design tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in file checking and preparation.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Clear and effective communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Positive, proactive attitude and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Comfortable working with digital systems, databases, and production management software.
  • Self-driven and capable of working independently or as part of a collaborative team.
