The Best Connection is recruiting on behalf of our client for a talented and detail-oriented Production Planner to join a forward-thinking manufacturing team. Main Purpose of the RoleAs a Production Planner, you will play a key role in optimising material resources and production capacity to ensure on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery to customers. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to align material planning with operational strategy and support the seamless execution of the order schedule.
Key Responsibilities- Administer and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) in line with AS9100 and NADCAP requirements.
- Oversee raw material and WIP flow to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Develop efficient production plans to optimise equipment and labour capacity.
- Collaborate with production teams to reduce cycle times and eliminate bottlenecks.
- Drive performance towards OTIF delivery targets.
- Escalate risks and planning challenges to management promptly.
- Support continuous improvement of MRP systems and planning processes.
- Monitor supplier performance and update inbound material requirements.
