Llangattock Church in Wales Primary School is a Voluntary Aided, community focussed Church school for children aged 4-11 years. Our building, set in beautiful surroundings in South Powys, currently consists of five classes and a 3+ setting. We are seeking to appoint a highly
motivated, conscientious teaching assistant to join the staff at our warm, friendly and successful school.
We are looking for a teaching assistant who;
• can support access to learning for pupils and provide general support to the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom
• is passionate about making a difference to the lives of the children at Llangattock
• has the vision, imagination and commitment to add to the strength of the school, to meet the highest standards and be a role model for our learners
• demonstrates commitment to continuous improvement and the raising of achievement
• develops highly effective strategies to engage learners to improve their performance further
• has experience in supporting children with Additional Learning Needs (ALN), demonstrating a commitment to inclusive education.
• shows passion for their continued professional development to be a lifelong learner and role model
• has proficiency in Welsh to foster a bilingual learning environment.
• demonstrates a willingness to actively participate within the wider school life, contributing to extra-curricular activities and community events.
• can embrace and support our Christian ethos and values.
