Summary
Job Title: Catering Assistant
Actual Annual Salary: £11,252 - £11,487 (Based on actual working hours and weeks)
Full Time Equivalent Salary: £24,310 - £24,819 Grade Ai (Based on 37 Hours per week, all year round)
Hourly rate: £12.60
Contract Type: Fixed Term until 13/02/2026, Covering Maternity Leave
Hours: Part Time, 20 Hours Per Week, Term Time only, Including Inset Days
Additional role info: Working Pattern - Monday to Friday, 4 hours per day

About you:
We are looking for a calm and enthusiastic individual to join our catering team to assist with general preparation, presentation and service of food for The Brook Academy. Relevant experience is desirable, but not essential as training can be providedYou will have:Have an understanding of the working conditions within a busy kitchen environment
A keen interest in working within an education-based environment and commitment to inclusion and acceptance of all
Ability to work as part of a team, form effective relationships with colleagues to ensure an effective catering service
Excellent time management skills
Good interpersonal skills, able to communicate well with children and adults.
Ability to keep clear and accurate records
Ability to maintain confidentiality over matters relating to the school, students, staff, or parents.
