Grade 5 SCP 10-17 (£14,227-£15,936) Teaching Assistant Level 3 – 22 hours
Grade 3 SCP 3-5 (£1,158-£1,195) Teaching Assistant Level 2 – 2 hours
The Governing Body are seeking to appoint an excellent and highly dedicated Teaching Assistant to work across Foundation Learning and Years 3-6. The post will be for 22 hours per week, plus an additional 2 hours paid at Level 2 to cover lunchtime duty. The four days will be worked Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, with two of these days spent supporting a pupil with additional learning needs.We are looking for someone who is:-- Experienced in working within Foundation Learning and Years 3-6.- Committed and passionate about learning and teaching.- A creative and inspirational thinker with lots of innovative ideas to share.- An excellent team member with a positive attitude and a sense of humour.- An effective motivator of children and their learning.- Committed to developing children as independent learners and thinkers.- Willing to contribute to whole school development.- Confident to use their own initiativeThe successful candidate must be qualified to at least NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.Neath Port Talbot Council is totally committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
