About the Role
Aramark UK is looking for a talented and organised Sous Chef to join our team at Wellington Barracks. You’ll play a key role in leading kitchen operations (3 kitchens on location), producing meals per shift, and supporting the Head Chef.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead kitchen operations when the Head Chef is absent.
- Prepare meals according to recipe sheets and allergen guidelines.
- Manage food production and minimise waste.
- Receive and store deliveries using FIFO procedures.
- Allocate tasks and support kitchen staff.
- Maintain hygiene standards and carry out deep cleans.
- Ensure all team members are trained and compliant.
What We're Looking For:
- Must have lived in the UK for the past 3 years.
- Legal right to work in the UK.
- Able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
- Relevant culinary qualification and minimum 2 years’ experience as a Sous Chef or Senior CDP.
- Food Hygiene Certification Level 2 (minimum)
- Trade test required as part of the interview process.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure.
