Emergency Home Responder - A Role That Breaks the 9-to-5 Mold Are you looking for a job that offers flexibility, variety, and the chance to make a real impact outside of the typical 9am to 5pm routine? As an Emergency Home Responder, you will be at the heart of providing critical support to our customers when they need it most. Whether you are assessing an emergency situation or offering reassurance and comfort, your role will be dynamic and hands-on. At all times you must offer reassurance and make our customers as comfortable as possible. Working from home you will be on call for the duration of your shift and attend emergency calls in the Fylde area when directed by our Control Centre. In addition to flexibility, we offer comprehensive training in all aspects of the role, including the moving and handling of customers who have fallen, performing risk assessments, First Aid and the use of all equipment. What You Will Bring: A full UK driving licence and own car is essentialIt is essential that you reside in the Fylde area to apply for this role.Compassion and care with a strong desire to support vulnerable persons.The ability to deal with emergencies in a calm and controlled mannerA passion for delivering excellent servicesTo be flexible and a committed team playerWillingness to learn new skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsThe commitment to working a flexible working capacity What We Offer: A permanent contract with consistent working patterns, 7 shifts on call followed by 7 shifts rest period.Night shifts on call between 18:00 and 06:00.A daily standby payment of £26.22 when on shift with an additional call out payment of £18.90 per hour for the first 90 minutes, then £12.97 per hour should the callout exceed 90 minutes.Mileage allowance of £0.45 per mile *If you meet the criteria we are looking for, our managers will contact you for an initial phone conversation to discuss the position and your expectations in more detail.
