Why this role?
As a Senior Social Worker in our permanent Court Team, you will:

Hold and manage care proceedings from start to final hearing and permanency planning.

Deliver exceptional quality assessments and case management, using evidence-based approaches.

Work in a team with manageable caseloads, reflective supervision and a strong team culture.

Support and mentor newly qualified social workers and students to develop the workforce of tomorrow.

Be part of a city-wide transformation focused on better outcomes for children and families.



What we’re looking for:

We want experienced, committed and skilled practitioners who can bring:

A Social Work England registration and recognised Social Work qualification.

Significant experience in both safeguarding and the family court arena.

Excellent knowledge of relevant legislation, including Working Together to Safeguard Children.

Confidence to complete high-quality assessments and evidence-based reports in a timely manner.

A child-centred, restorative approach, working collaboratively with families and partners.
