Summary
The Best Connection Stockport - Is currently recruiting for two, Class Two Drivers for a Temp to Perm Vacancy based in Stockport!
Schedule & Pay:
- Monday to Friday
- Start's Vary between 5am-8am
- £14.50 Per Hour
- No nights out
- 12 Weeks through The Best Connection and then taken on permanently by the company
- May be up to 15 hour days
Role & Duties:
- Class 2 driving with potential to drive 7.5t or van; same rate applied
- Load vehicle at the warehouse with FLTs (FLT operators handle loading stock onto drivers' vehicles)
- Palletised goods; 6-7 drops typical (sometimes fewer, with possible add-ons); some collections and drops across various locations
- Drivers plan their own routes and loads; minimum manual handling
- FLTs operate at the warehouse to prepare stock; occasional driving of airport routes possible once CO trained
- Airport freight
- Delivering to a large number of companies
Requirements:
- Valid Class 2 (C) license
- Willingness to work within a palletised goods environment
- Ability to plan routes and select loads
- Flexibility for occasional longer days and varying start times
- Suitable to work with FLTs and warehouse staff
