The Opportunity
We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial and project teams across a portfolio of high-quality developments. Key Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and management of project budgets, cost plans, and valuations

Support senior surveyors with tendering, subcontractor procurement, and contract administration

Measure and assess quantities from drawings and specifications

Assist in preparing interim valuations and final accounts

Contribute to cost reporting, forecasting, and value engineering processes

Work collaboratively with project managers, design teams, and site staff to ensure commercial success

Maintain clear documentation and support best practice in all financial processes
Key Requirements

Some experience or exposure to quantity surveying within a construction environment (placement or early career experience welcomed)

A relevant qualification or degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field (or working towards one)

Strong numerical and analytical skills with great attention to detail

Good communication and organisational abilities

Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn within a collaborative team environment
