Role Overview
We are seeking a talented and results-driven Marketing Manager to lead and manage marketing activities across multiple Subway franchise locations. This role will involve designing and executing marketing campaigns that are aligned with Subway’s global brand guidelines while adapting to local market needs. The successful candidate will play a key role in increasing customer footfall, driving sales performance, and maintaining strong brand positioning across all stores.
Key Responsibilities
• - Develop and implement multi-channel marketing plans tailored to the QSR/food retail industry.
• - Plan and execute digital campaigns including social media, email marketing, and paid advertising.
• - Manage local store marketing initiatives, seasonal campaigns, and regional promotions.
• - Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
• - Analyse customer insights, sales data, and campaign performance to inform marketing strategy and demonstrate ROI.
• - Build relationships with local community groups, organisations, and suppliers to increase brand awareness.
• - Ensure compliance with Subway’s brand standards and corporate marketing guidelines.
• - Lead marketing support for new store openings, refurbishments, and relaunches.
• - Collaborate with operations and area managers to align marketing with business and sales goals.
• - Manage external agencies, suppliers, and local media to maximise campaign effectiveness.
• - Develop loyalty, customer retention, and customer experience enhancement initiatives.
• - Prepare and present monthly performance reports to senior management.
• - Train and support store managers on executing in-store promotional activity.
Candidate Requirements
Essential Skills & Experience
• - Proven experience in a marketing management role, preferably in retail, hospitality, or QSR/food service.
• - Strong knowledge of digital marketing, including social media platforms, SEO, PPC, and email marketing.
• - Experience developing localised marketing strategies for multiple sites.
• - Solid understanding of customer behaviour and trends in the fast-food/QSR industry.
• - Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• - Strong leadership and project management abilities.
• - Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Desirable Skills & Knowledge
• - Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline.
• - Experience working with franchise businesses.
• - Knowledge of food retail compliance and brand guidelines.
• - Ability to analyse marketing performance using digital analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, etc.).
• - Budget management and cost-control experience.
