What’s the Job?
We’re looking for a part time Management Assessor to join the Skills Delivery Team
to deliver the following qualifications:
Team Leader SCQF Level 6
Management SCQF Level 7
Management SCQF Level 9
Management SCQF Level 11
The Skills Delivery Team is responsible for delivering certificated and bespoke
professional courses, SVQs, MAs and Open Learning courses in a college that aims
to be one step ahead. The Work-based Learning team are a growing and evolving
team who deliver SVQ’s and Modern Apprenticeships.
Who we’re looking for?
We’re looking for a person who has relevant qualifications and experience, that is
enthusiastic about sharing their knowledge and someone who would enjoy
supporting candidates to be the best they can be. You should have recent
experience working in management and able to demonstrate continuous
professional development within management. Essential skills for this role include
the ability to work both within a team and independently, have good administrative
skills and be target driven. Experience as an assessor is desirable but training and
certification will be provided.
To succeed in the role, you will have some or all the following:
Relevant Qualification at a minimum of SCQF Level 9 (e.g. Degree, Graduate
Diploma/HND/SVQ)
Experience of working in a management role
Experience of working in a similar assessing role is desirable, you should have
the relevant assessor qualifications however, willingness to work towards the
Assessor Qualification will be considered.
Excellent time management and planning skills are required to manage a
portfolio of candidates.
Strong customer service and relationship building skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience using MS Office is required to be able to use College systems and
online portfolios.
