Summary
Barony Castle Hotel is looking for a friendly, enthusiastic Food & Beverage Team Member to join our front-of-house team. Set in 25 acres of beautiful grounds near Peebles, our historic castle hotel offers guests a warm welcome—and we’re looking for someone who can help us deliver it every day.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Welcoming guests and providing excellent service in our restaurant, bar, and event spaces
Taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring a smooth, enjoyable experience
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
Supporting the team during weddings, conferences, and special events
Handling payments and assisting with setup and stock duties
What We’re Looking For:
A positive, can-do attitude and great communication skills
Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
Previous hospitality experience is a bonus—but not essential
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends
A genuine passion for customer service and attention to detail
