Summary
JOB DESCRIPTION
David Mitchell Builders are seeking an experienced, time served Roofer to carry out and deliver gutter cleaning, minor and major roof repairs for our clients in residential and commercial properties within Glasgow and the surrounding area
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
∙ Demonstrate a high level of competency in dealing with work orders
∙ Show initiative and self-discipline to see works through to a satisfactory completion
∙ Commitment for on-call duty, working overtime & short notice requests
∙ Initiative to make decisions and resolve problems encountered on site
∙ Demonstrate commercial awareness with internal processes
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
∙ Full & clean UK driving licence
∙ Competent and time served in all aspects of roofing
∙ Experienced in gutter cleaning, minor and major roof works
∙ Experience of basic understanding in other trades would be beneficial
∙ Must be able to work on their own initiative
∙ Confident in all health and safety procedures
∙ Have a high standard of workmanship and a “right first-time approach”
SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
∙ Excellent customer service and communication skills.
∙ Willingness to accept responsibility, ownership and control of a variety of situations
∙ Self-motivated individual who works well within a team
∙ Ability to work methodically, efficiently and accurately in a busy environment
∙ Presentable, polite, friendly and confident
