Summary
Our Client in Lodge Farm, Northampton is seeking an upholsterer to join their team on an ongoing basis. The position could lead to a permanent position following on from a successful trail period. Immediate starts available.
Shifts and Pay
- Monday - Friday
- 8am-5pm
- £12.21 per hour
Duties:
- Furniture Restoration: replacing and repairing damaged upholstery, padding, and springs. Can be on items such as sofas, chairs, and mattresses.
- Material Selection and Preparation: Select appropriate materials (e.g., fabric, leather, foam) and prepare them by measuring, cutting, and fitting to ensure a precise fit.
- Assembly and Installation: Using tools like staple guns, sewing machines, and hand tools, upholsterers assemble and install upholstery on furniture, ensuring durability and comfort.
- Quality Control: Upholsterers inspect their work for quality and make adjustments as necessary to meet client specifications and industry standards.
